What to Expect

We’re a group of people who are passionate about sharing God’s love with others. We gather each week to experience God through worship and a relevant and practical Bible-centered message. We don’t claim to have it all figured out, and recognize that each of us is in a different spot in our journey with Christ. Whatever your thoughts on church and beliefs about God, you’re welcome here! Below you’ll find some information about what you can expect when coming to a Sunday service. Of course, if you have any questions, we are more than willing to help at the church or send us an email ahead of time!

Sundays at taylor Avenue

We gather each week to experience God as a community and sing and here about Jesus Christ.

  • First, service kicks off with a time where we greeting each other while we sing.  .
  • Next, we continue singing a few songs and reading from the Bible. If you don’t know the words, no sweat – we have them on the screen for you.
  • After that, one of our pastors will come up and prayer over the offering followed by a song. No one is going to focus you to give. This is a time for those that feel led to help with the support of Taylor Avenue Church.
  • After that, one of our pastors will come up and share a relevant and practical Bible-centered message.
  • Finally, we will sing a couple more songs and take communion together on the first Sunday of the month. Communion is available to anyone who follows Jesus Christ – you don’t need to be baptized or a member of our church to participate.

Our service is at 10:45 am at the corner of 21st Street and Taylor Avenue.
